i don't know if this has to do with the shutdown bug, but i have noticed that i can't put my laptop on standby when i am using SharpE. it's sort of scary because yesterday my laptop was so hot when i went to take it out of the bag i couldn't touch it (my laptop is metal all over, pretty much and it burned me, OW!). i didn't know it didn't standby because i rarely use that feature, but it definitely will not stand by. i don't want to have to shut down my laptop to take it on a short jaunt from point a to point b but when i set the battery control to, say, max battery and it's supposed to sand by after 2 mins, it absolutely does not stand by. just letting you know. :D
