Description

i need YOU! that's right you! the person with 600 programs including windowblinds. you, the person who loves to skin everything in sight. even you, the-one-who-likes-to-specifically-set-everything-up-and-tweak-it-to-death.

if you like to break things and file bug resports, and especially if you ask yourself "why is it so long between releases?" then i ask you to join us and become an official beta-tester. you will test SharpE on everything you possibly can, and then report back to us. you will end up meticulously writing down horrible error codes and discovering that this and this do *not* work together. but you will be doing us the biggest favor ever. and boy will we love you for that!

if you're interested, do reply to this ticket. it would be lovely if you did.

thanks muchly,

spj

Well, I'm not sure if I'm the 'tweak it to death' kind, but I do spend about 3-4 hours a day on my computer (Maybe more.), and I do love to find five different ways to do everything, so I guess I'm in. :)

A little more info:

I am more of an obsesive tweaker. On my PC, if I wouldn't use a service in services.msc, it's not there, I nLite-ed it away. I'm very skeptical about memory usage of applications and enjoy tweaking them until they break, picking up the pieces and starting again until I find the perfect spot. I spend between 3-5 hours (generally more :P ) on the PC and I'm pretty fluent in Delphi too ;).

Well, I can no longer Beta test, considering as I have no computer that is fast enough to run SharpE... I did however say that I might do some skinning, so my email is: SpeedreadStudios?@gmail.com

I just installed #E again (last time it was about a year ago but it was a little buggy at work :P ) It already solved my damn volume control problems with spid/if. I would love to beta test this thing... My last start menu was so large that I had to leave it scrolling down for almost 20 seconds to reach the bottom... :D and runnin' stable, so i think i could help out. I got a Windows Server 2003 Enterprise edition as my desktop (if you never used it, its basically a reliable windows xp).

so far my only issue is the occasional dissappearing bar and I can't seem to create ANY desktop pictures... i'm runnin the latest unstable.

Well i can help with this. I can also test sharpe with vista ultimate 64-bit and might have a change to test it also in windows xp embedded.
